At Rifle Fire Protection District part of our mission and vision is to ensure that our members are provided with the best in training and to prevent or mitigate situations which endanger the lives, health or property of those people that live in our district.

The Training Division is responsible for the design, delivery, and documentation of all educational programs involving department personnel. These programs are intended to improve the firefighting, emergency medical, rescue, and hazardous materials response capabilities available to the citizens of  Rifle as well as meet the requirements and objectives of federal and state agencies. Additional duties include the presentation of department related training and demonstrations to various organizations throughout the community.

The Training Division will incorporate the best instructional and training methods to our members by utilizing current fire service data, performance standards, and modern technology.

Our goal is to have one of the best firefighting training facilities in the area.
